As you all know this is a boat club with no paid employees. That means that all the work needs to be done by people like you and me. All of us bring something to the table. We may like to do small repairs. We might be people that like projects. Some of us like to be on the water when we work. (some prefer to work under the water too) Maybe it is cutting grass. Perhaps you are good at organizing events or tending to the decor. What ever you like to do, we need your talent.
This tuesday the Executive meets to organize this aspect of our club life together. My plan is that every member will be assigned to an area. Some people will give leadership to that area and others will be on a rota of some kind. Some jobs are seasonal and some on going.
Now is your chance to let us know your preferences. Listed below are the Various Committees and their leaders that make up the Club. If you have an area that you would like to volunteer in please send me off a quick email letting me know. If it doesn’t matter to you, then let us know and we will assign you where we need the most help.
There are also times when we need as many of you as possible to show up. These include: House and Yard Cleanup days, General Meetings, Haulout and Launches and of course Social Events.
