Harbourmasters Report Oct 2010

1)    All boats and docks clear of the harbour except Dave Beaudin, and Skip.   I called Dave and left a message to see if he needed help.   I believe that Skip’s intention is to come in to the wharf for a while.   JPs Skiff is still tied to the wharf as is the Arbe Sea.

2)    Work day went very well from the sailboat/crane/hydraulic point of view.  Cost/boat was approx $125   The normal charge for this in the past has been 150 for the crane and 100 for the move to the yard with the hydraulic trailer.   We also paid Herb $30/hour for the time he put in, which was significant.   He provided a number of things that we needed including a jack, extra straps, chains and an air compressor.

3)    If you intend to winterize your own mooring you should do it asap.  If you don’t do it by the end of this coming weekend then the club will undertake and do it for you with appropriate charges.

4)    There is ½ inch line available at .20 /foot for marking
