Here you will find information about a variety of facilities that will help you keep your vessel safe and secure, not only for yourself but also for your fellow boaters, especially fellow mooring neighbours. If there are things that you do not understand or have a suggestion, please contact the Harbourmaster.
The Harbourmaster maintains “stores” in the Heritage building. Usually on hand is 1/2 rope, 3/8 and 1/2 inch chain, shackles, and other hardware needed to building and maintain moorings. If you use any of these items, be sure to let the Treasurer know so your account can be billed.
We have a vessel, a floating platform (pictured), known as the “Gallows”. This work vessel is for lifting moorings for inspection, maintenance or relocation. It is equipped with an outboard, electric winch and a chain hoist. This is available to members who have been authorized and trained to use it.
The “ArbySea” is our 15 ft. work boat and is available for mooring maintenance also and for general harbour operations and maintenance. However the ArbySea is not available for any member’s personal use other than harbour moorings.
